This free online co-parenting course, with certificate is for parents or carers who are separated or divorced who are looking for helpful tools to co-parent effectively. Our course provides tools and guidance to help you and the other parent work together effectively, putting your children’s best interests first.
Who is the course for?
Divorced or separated parents of children 18 and under, or those who are currently going through a divorce or separation.
What does the course cover?

- Positive communication with your co-parent
- Resident and non-resident parents
- Self-care and managing new relationships
How does the course work?
The course is developed by experienced family support workers and covers techniques to improve your co-parenting relationship and support your children with the impact of separation. This is a self-guided parenting course, which you can do whenever and wherever suits you and work through it at our own pace.
The course is a mixture of text, images, interactive elements, videos and quizzes. You can do it on a mobile, tablet or computer. You’ll get a downloadable certificate when you complete the course.
The course takes approximately 2 hours in total. You have 60 days from registering to complete this course.
